Friends Forever!

and

Now

Liv, Logan, Ella, and Avery (March 27, 2010)

I can't believe how much these girls have grown up. The first picture (in the link) was in September of 2008 and the picture above is from Saturday. Even though they are not the exact same ages and won't be in the same grade or at the same schools, I hope that we can continue to take these pictures as they shout "BEST FRIENDS!" They are precious and adorable and I am so glad that Liv gets to call them her friends.

Dinner at The Oasis

Liv just had to scratch her head...
She's always gotta show love to her "Horns!"
Sunset
Right after sundown, on the deck...
"Cheese"

We took the girls to have dinner at The Oasis on Friday night. Both girls had a good time, but Olivia absolutely loved it. She was so excited to watch the boats on the water and to see the sun go down. I definitely want to take them back again soon!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

Amanda is developing an obsession with purses and bags. I can't say that I blame her. Olivia and I both LOVE purses and bags too. Amanda loves to get into my purse and go through my wallet. She takes out all of my credit cards and money. You can see her emptying the wallet in this picture. I had a hard time getting her to turn around for the picture because she thought I was going to take the wallet away from her.

**NOTE: You can also see how red her hair is turning in this picture. The more it grows, the more auburn red it becomes!

Late Night Visitors

I was lying in bed last night around 4 a.m. trying to fall back to sleep. I have no idea what woke me up to begin with, but I started hearing little sounds from the back patio. It sounded like a dog or cat was out there, but the cat was in our bed and the dog (we are dog sitting) was snoring loudly enough for me to know that he had not been left out for the night. I got up and crept to the back door. There, sitting at the back window, like a pet dog or cat was....

Mr. Raccoon!

I woke Olivia up and we watched the raccoon snoop around the porch and creep through the yard. Andy (the cat) woke up and came to door with us and when he spotted the raccoon he jumped against the window blinds and scared the 'coon away. We watched him shimmy up the back fence and scramble over. This raccoon is about 4 times the size of the cat and is by far, the biggest raccoon that I have ever seen!

Little Stinker

Amanda got this little outfit for her birthday from our good friends Tray and Tori. (Her Aunt Tori and Uncle Tray!) Anyway, I thought she looked so mischievous (and cute). She is such a toddler and such a little stinker!!!

Better Late Than Never, The Taylor Swift Concert

Taylor Swift's album is called Fearless. She is Olivia's favorite musician and I was so excited to take her to the concert. We had a great time!

Getting ready to go! I think my nose is expanding, ugh!

I made her a "Fearless" t-shirt!

Taylor!

The snacks...

**UPDATE** Fishing Trip

It was brought to my attention that I did not mention if any fish were actually caught on our fishing trip.

MY BAD!

After fishing in 3 different locations around the lake, I am sad to report that...

NONE of the fish took our bait!

Jack's Yo Gabba Gabba Party

This weekend we went to Jack's 2nd Birthday party. It was a Yo Gabba Gabba party and Amy really set the bar for all of us who love to have festive, themed birthday parties. These pictures are just some of the awesome things that the kids got to eat, see, and play with at the party!

Dr. Olivia

Amanda has been sick on and off for a week. We took her to the doctor and the only diagnosis was allergies. She was tested for flu, ear infection, strep, pneumonia, urinary tract infection, and a kidney infection. She was negative for everything, which is good, but also frustrating when you just want your baby to feel better. Dr. Olivia decided to give her an examination of her own and put her on bed rest on their picnic table. Amanda was so out of energy that she just played along! Luckily she is now back to her normal, energetic, smiley self!

Kite Festival at Zilker Park 2010

We took the girls to the Kite Festival at Zilker Park last Sunday. It was so much fun. We forgot to bring a picnic blanket so we had to stand the whole time, but the girls had a great time. We saw so many awesome kites. Olivia is really looking forward to flying her Dora kite this spring!

The New Indoor Playground

I took the girls to a new indoor playground and bouncy house place in Round Rock. They had such a good time. Amanda wanted to play in all the big kid areas, so we had to corral her back to the baby areas over and over again. This is Olivia and Amanda in the baby area ball pit! I loved the way the colorful balls look in the picture!

This is Amanda in the 1-4 year old area that is really geared more towards the 3 and 4 year olds, but she is determined!
Here she is making an attempt at a big girl slide on her own. (Olivia usually takes her down the slides.)
She was worn out after 2 hours!
