Happy Fall

We had to hit up 2 pumpkin patches before we could find an "acceptable" pumpkin. We were a little late to the first patch and the pumpkins were picked over, muddy, and rotten. Luckily there was another patch down the road and we were able to choose the perfect pumpkin!

Miley! Miley! Miley!

I took Liv to the Miley Cyrus concert last week. It was so much fun. She was a little nervous at first but ended up having an amazing time. Taking my daughter to her first concert was one of my favorite experiences of all time!

Visit from Cousin Blake & Family

Olivia's cousin Blake came for a visit last weekend. The kids hadn't seen each other in 3 years. (Bad parents!, I know.) They had a great time getting to know each other and playing. Boys and girls are so...different. Blake talked about bodily functions and Liv played house and bossed him around. It was so cute. We can't wait for another visit.

Pillsbury Dough Girls

Olivia's been "itching" to do some baking ever since her Aunt Sissy mentioned the possibility of making cupcakes 2 weeks ago. I grabbed some ready to bake cookies at H-E-B last week and we let the girls do the rest! Some ended up in balls like play dough and others turned out perfectly! It was fun and the end results were YUMMY!

The Grand Tour of Prue, OK

Adam's mom and granddad live in a VERY small town in Oklahoma. There is one store, a school, and the town hall (shown below). There is nothing else for a good 15 miles down an unpaved road. It is nice to be out in the country...no pressure, no running to the store, etc...but I would miss my city life before too long!

As promised, more photos from our trip to Oklahoma. Our computer was out of commission yesterday (Monday). A little person got hold of the charger cord and caused it to short. I purchased a new one today and we are now "re-connected!"

We had to take an emergency trip to Oklahoma last week. Adam lost his beloved Grandma on October 9th. She was a beautiful woman with a great spirit and wonderful voice. She will be missed dearly. Olivia and Amanda got to visit many of their relatives. These pictures are of the girls with their cousins (like 3rd cousins, but still...), Samantha, Jasper, and Jolie. My Birthday

The girls and I were sick on my birthday, but Adam got a cake and my dad sent flowers and we partied like I was 104~

Jail Time

Poor A. She seems to spend a lot of time in baby "jail." She loves to crawl and try to walk, but we have mainly tile and wood flooring in our house so even a minor crash can lead to major bruising. I have to keep her contained to keep her from looking black and blue. Olivia took this picture of her sister "do'in time!" At least she's smiling about it!

Fresh Beats

There is a new show on Nick Jr. called The Fresh Beat Band. Olivia loves it. She dances and sings and begs to watch. I took a few pictures of her dancing to "Loco Legs" this morning.
