July 4th

We woke up on July 4th morning and I decided to bake a festive cake. I got almost through all of the ingredients and realized that we were out of vegetable oil so I had to use butter. The cake turned out pretty flat but no one complained about the taste. I guess that's all that matters!

I took the girls to the festival in the park in Georgetown. This was our (Olivia and mommy) 3rd year to go, but Amanda's first. Amanda LOVED the petting zoo. I could hardly keep track of her.

Liv on the other hand....

enjoyed the rides much more than the animals.

And it just wouldn't be July 4th without face painting, American flags, and sno cones!

Happy Mother's Day to all my favorite mommy's out there! I have been so blessed with my 2 precious girls and cannot wait to meet my #3 in August!

  • Ezek 16:44 "'Everyone who quotes proverbs will quote this proverb about you: "Like mother, like daughter."
