Happy Birthday Amanda Grace!

One year ago today I was anxious and excited to go to the hospital at 5 a.m. to prepare for my 7:00 a.m. c-section to deliver Amanda Grace. I had no idea how much joy she would joy bring to my life. She is the sweetest, happiest, funniest baby that I have ever been around. She is smiling and laughing morning, afternoon, and night. She likes to talk (lots of goo goo ga ga right now) and she has started singing a little song that goes "Do Da! Do Da!" She loves playing peek-a-boo and dancing to music in the car. She has brought us so much happiness. Our family has been blessed by this beautiful little girl! Happy 1st Birthday Amanda!!

Castle

Does anyone else watch this show? I love it. And...the other day I was in a restaurant and saw a man reading a book by Rick Castle. If Rick Castle is real (I haven't done my research!) then I cannot wait to read the books!!

Liv Too!

Liv was getting a little jealous about so many "Amanda" posts so I promised her a Liv post today!

Going Through the Purse!

Amanda loves to go through my purse. I have similar pictures of Olivia but there is one difference. Olivia never quite mastered the cheesy grin the way Amanda has. I love it!

Almost 1!

We were at Party City yesterday and I saw all the 1st birthday party gear. I just had to try the little frilly "I'm 1" hat on Amanda. She was happy to pose for a pic!

Happy January!

It has been a busy 2010 already. Adam was off of work from December 31st-January 10th. We spent the week doing projects around the house and hanging around with the girls. We took Olivia to see "The Princess and the Frog," which she loved! Speaking of princesses, Olivia had a homework project last week. She brought home a snowman cutout and we were to decorate it as a family in a way that represented Olivia. Well....I think we used at least a hundred sparkles! I definitely think that this represents Olivia. (And maybe mommy too!)

Not much more to report right now, but American Idol starts tonight and we can't wait. We should also have some new pictures soon since somebody is turning 1 this month! Happy January!
