A Recent Turn of Events

Due to a recent turn of events, Adam, Olivia, and I have been in Dallas and do not have a scheduled return date yet. Though the circumstances surrounding our stay are extremely unfortunate, we do have a bit of good news to share.

Thanks to a very kind doctor who went out of his way to do us a special favor, we have found out the gender of "baby brudder."

Please continue to pray for my mother as she battles ovarian cancer. Please pray for Olivia's baby sister that she may continue to grow and arrive healthy in January.

...say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
-Isaiah 35:4

Lauren--
We are thinking of you and your family right now. I know this must be terribly difficult. I am so glad that your mom knows that you are having a girl. Please stay strong for that baby you are carrying. Let me know if there is anything we can do to help out and make things a little easier on you. Avery would love a playdate with Livvie so we would be happy to come get her so you have an afternoon to yourself.
We love you! Call if you need anything.

Lauren,
I am so so sorry to read about what is happening with your mother. It is so stressful and heartwrenching to watch a loved one suffer. We offer up our prayers for you and your precious family, and for your unborn little one.
